for Life's Later Chapters
Karendel offers structured reading programmes on estate planning, pre-retirement household matters, and the language of household money conversations — designed for adults who value thoughtful preparation over hurried decisions.

A Considered Approach to Adult Learning
Reading-Led Format
All programmes are built around pre-distributed reading material. Participants come prepared; sessions are structured discussions, not lectures.
Small Cohorts
Groups of ten to twelve participants allow for substantive peer discussion and a considered pace that suits adults with full schedules.
Singapore Context
All materials address Singapore-specific frameworks — CPF, LPA, SRS, and local estate documentation. Content is relevant and grounded.
Educational, Not Advisory
Karendel programmes are clearly educational in scope. No financial advice is offered. Participants are encouraged to consult qualified professionals for personal decisions.
Tangible Materials
Each programme includes printed, clothbound reading binders, glossary cards, and discussion notebooks — reference materials participants keep long after sessions conclude.
Respectful Pacing
Sessions are scheduled to suit adults with established commitments — evening and weekend formats, with adequate time between sessions for reading and reflection.
Reserve a Place in the Next Cohort
Places in each reading programme are limited to preserve the quality of discussion. Write to us or call to ask about current availability and forthcoming session dates.
Frequently Asked
Who are Karendel programmes designed for?
The programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and above who are approaching or are in the later stages of their working lives. Each individual programme specifies a recommended age range — for example, the Estate Planning Reading Programme is suited to adults aged 45 and above, while the Pre-Retirement Reading Workshop is designed for those aged 50 to 60.
Are these programmes regulated financial advice?
No. Karendel programmes are educational reading and discussion programmes. They introduce vocabulary, frameworks, and documentary processes — not personal financial advice. No advice is offered, and participants are always encouraged to consult qualified professionals — solicitors, licensed financial advisers, or CPF-registered professionals — for decisions specific to their circumstances.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are held at our Raffles Place office — 24 Raffles Place, #29-05, Clifford Centre, Singapore 048621. The location is accessible by MRT and is central to the CBD. Specific session rooms and timings are confirmed upon enrolment.
How large are the cohorts?
Cohort sizes are kept deliberately small — typically ten to twelve participants per programme. This allows each session to function as a genuine discussion rather than a lecture, and ensures that participants have space to raise questions and share their reading observations.
What is the fee, and how is payment made?
Programme fees are S$870 for the Estate Planning Reading Programme, S$300 for the Pre-Retirement Reading Workshop, and S$165 for the Household Money Reading Circle. All fees include printed materials. Payment details are provided upon confirmation of enrolment. Please write to us or call to discuss.
What materials do participants receive?
Materials vary by programme but typically include a clothbound reading binder with session chapters, weekly glossary cards, and a peer discussion notebook. The Pre-Retirement Reading Workshop additionally includes a household reference card. All materials are prepared for the specific cohort and distributed before each session.
