Our Methodology

How Every Karendel Programme Works

Every Karendel programme follows the same underlying structure. A reading binder is prepared and distributed to each participant at least one week before the first session. The binder contains all the material that will be discussed across the full programme โ€” divided into chapters that correspond to individual sessions.

Participants are expected to read the relevant chapter before each session. The session itself is not a lecture on that material but a structured discussion: the facilitator works through the chapter with the group, drawing out observations, clarifying terminology, and ensuring that quieter participants have space to contribute.

At the close of the programme, participants have a reading binder they have worked through, a glossary of relevant Singapore terminology, and a discussion notebook that records the questions and observations they found most useful. These materials are theirs to keep.

3

Reading before each session

4

Facilitated discussion

5

Close and feedback

After the final session, a written feedback form is distributed. Responses inform the next cohort cycle.
